Dress Code

 MIDDLE SCHOOL (Grades 6-8)

  • Black, gold or white 2-3 button Polo-style collared uniform shirt.

  • Khaki pants, black pants, blue jeans, shorts or skirts. Must be worn at the waist; shorts and skirts must be worn to the knee.  No holes, tears, patches, or over-sized garments.  Leggings under jeans with holes are not permitted.

  • Students must wear closed-toe shoes.

  • Jackets with hoods are allowed; however, the hood is not to be worn in the building.  Students will remove all hats, caps, scarves, do-rags, and sunglasses upon entry into the building.

  • No see-through clothing permitted.

  • If students use a backpack, it needs to be mesh.  

  • Face covering in the building (disposable or reusable) is required, but it is subject to change due by order of the governor, TEA, local school district, or local health agency. Bandanas are not permitted.

HIGH SCHOOL (Grades 9-12)

  • T-shirt, Polo-style, or button down shirt. No tank tops, racer-back tops, low-cut shirts, halters, midriff, or strapless tops.

  • Pants, jeans, capris, shorts or skirts. Must be worn at the waist; shorts and skirts must be worn to the knee.  No holes, tears, patches, oversized garments, leggings, workout pants, or pajama pants.  Leggings under jeans with holes are not permitted.

  • Students must wear closed-toe shoes.

  • Jackets with hoods are allowed; however, the hood is not to be worn in the building.  Students will remove all hats, caps, scarves, do-rags, and sunglasses upon entry into the building.

Spirit Days (all students)

Monday: Students have the option of wearing a college/university shirt.
Wednesday: Students have the option of wearing an AIM No Place for Hate t-shirt.
Friday: Students have the option of wearing an AIM spirit shirt.

Modified Dress DayDuring Modified Dress Days, students will be expected to comply with the campus dress code.   Students may not wear clothing with inappropriate logos, emblems, or decorations.  Halters, strapless garments, tank tops, short shorts, leggings, or clothing that exposes the midriff or underarm will not be permitted.
